Waterside Wednesday

Hello and thanks for coming over
I'm joining in on

I don't often get to join in on these fun things but after a beautiful blue skyed, winters day here in Melbourne, we even took Guss for a walk along the beach, what better inspiration can you get?

We also got to do a little shopping today and found these candle holders on sale - 95 cents each!I've dry brushed on a little white paint. The chopping board in the background is a recent Garage Sale find, wonderful weathered rope handle, the board is also weathered and silvery, although it doesn't look so in the photo. I'm planning to paint some form of beachiness whatever on it - hopefully the whatever will come to me soon!

The photo below is my starfish/shell collection, which I'm constantly picking out subjects from for my paintings. You can see my latest trio original series below, I've painted them on weathered chippy vintage timber panels Tony found and cut to size for me

Thanks for coming over to visit
