|Hello and thanks for coming over
We've had absolutely crazy weather here in Melbourne....
Whoever is doing the
"Rain Dance" could you please stop!
My little studio flooded today, I was trying so hard to finish a painting I'd been working on, inspired by a Rose Bush my Dad gave me when we first moved in here about 17 years ago.
It's right outside the window where I do my internet stuff!
The Roses are the best at this time of the year and I often gaze at them while I'm waiting for my computer to load
I took this photo just after we had the downpour of rain, poor roses are a bit battered now
I did manage to finish the painting
click on the painting if you'd like details
and now I best get off here and start mopping up the mess!!
I wish the mess looked as harmless as it does in the photo!
Hope you all have a wonderful week
~Gail~

oh that is serious rain! I can see your poor bedraggled roses! Lovely painting! Rachaelxo
HI Gail, love the painting as I do all your work. It has been raining here for 4 days straight and today we finally had a little break, sort of. My kitchen window leaked a bit and now I have to try and get rid of the water stain on my blind. The weather is going a little crazy I think! Hope we have some sunshine soon... take care, Maryann
Hi Gail,
Love your roses, lucky you having nice weather. It is getting cold and wintry here in NY.

Oh dear Gail,
Another thing we have in common, my studio leaks when we have lots of rain as well!
The roses and the painting are gorgeous and come with fabulous memories too.
Have a great, dry weekend,
Hugs,
Anna
I suppose looking on the bright side Gail... no more drought!!
Not what you want to hear when your house is flooding.
I hope you have a sunny and warm weekend.
Hugs ~ Kerryanne
